According to a recent post on the Digitrax-Users groups.io forum Digitrax is no longer repairing the UT4 throttle.
After submitting a trouble ticket to the Digitrax HelpDesk for repair of his UT4 a forum member received this reply:
"We no longer repair UT4 throttles due to a lack of parts. Sounds like the potentiometer has gone bad."
There is a substitute potentiometer available as stated in a forum message of approximately a year ago.
"Apparently the official replacement part for the UT4 potentiometer was 688-RK09L1140A5P from Mouser Electronic Inc that is no longer being manufactured and has a replacement that works... The substitute potentiometer is RK09D113000K Alps Alpine Potentiometers. These have similar specs as the discontinued version, just that the shaft is plastic and is about 1/2" longer necessitating cutting down to length and filing the flat part a little bit. After removing the faulty pot in the throttle, these new ones slip in perfectly...
