ESU Releases LokProgrammer v4.2.3

Release notes for  new LokProgrammer version 4.2.3

• New firmware 5.7.151 for LokSound 5 family: New CV122.6: Analog settings - Analog mode motor control - High frequency PWM motor control for smoother operation with Coreless motors
• New firmware 5.6.149 for LokSound 5 family: New CV122.5: Analog settings - Sound control behaviour - Ignore Acceleration and Deceleration values in the sound schedule.
• New Firmware 5.6.148 for LokPilot 5 family: Bugfix LokPilot 5 Fx micro Next18 / LokPilot 5 Fx micro Next 18 DCC: Now you can do Service mode programming without load on AUX1
• Added Support for LokSound 5 hardware Revision 5.1
• Added default values for LokPilot 5 Basic

The next to last bullet point makes the author wonder if they finally have some of their promised redesign done due to the chip shortages. Let's hope so.

Digitrax's Latest DT602 Firmware Release

Feb. 6, 2023 (version 1.1)

This is DT602 Software Version2 IPL that adds "Night Mode" display color inversion requested for low light conditions. After IPL, following version updates must be SW ver2 or greater. IPL sub version is 1.1. This IPLs' to any version of DT602. To use Night [Dark] Mode, color inversion: On DT602 press Menu>3>3 to enter Throttle Options. Turn Left encoder to scroll down to "ID12- Invert Color" line. Press Change/C key. Press X key to complete and save new setting. Power cycle the DT602 to restart with color scheme reversed from white to black background, or vice-versa.
