Digitrax's DCS 50 and 51 Zephyrs both had the ability to be a booster with no Command Station capability if needed. This was Option Switch 2 set to "C"losed. The DCS 52 does not have this documented in its manual.
A Help Desk ticket concerning this was opended by a member of the groups.io forum and he received this reply:
You can close Option Switch 2 to make the DCS52 a booster/throttle with no command station capabilities. It is an undocumented Option Switch.
At least Digitrax is being consistent with this feature.
